haha, i know you didn’t mean for me to feel bad, but this is just how my brain works. I see people who either have progressed more quickly than I have, or are better and younger than me, and this is how I react.
Don’t worry, I always feel bad about my art.

I love characters like this.
Part of me does and part of me doesn’t. I love Lus, because I invented him and kind of have a soft spot because I know why he is the way he is (and have so many AU versions of him where he’s not actually a horrible person) but a lot of times I get really fed up when people try to convince me that characters are anything other than bad people. But then I really love some bad guys, because they have more in depth stories and personalities than the good guys sometimes… I am just super conflicted about these things, I guess.

And this is why I believe you can’t possibly see patriarchy theory as one-sided. There’s another side to EVERYTHING.
Exactly. The patriarchy hurts men as much as it does women, by forcing both groups into little cookie cutter molds. There will be some who don’t mind the shape they’re forced into, on either side, but there will be those on both sides who say ‘hey, I like that mold better.” Or whatever. That was a bad analogy, but I just had an instance of stuttering and that makes me twitchy so my brain isn’t working terribly well right now. But yes, agreeing with you a lot right now.
